Chris Benedict lives in the Pacific Northwest and makes her living as a Technical Writer and Editor.

When she’s not writing fiction or working, she amuses herself with a garden, a husband, and an ever-changing number of ferrets. Other hobbies include online gaming (proud hunter of the Horde on World of Warcraft), photography, crochet, beach-combing, feeding wild birds, and communing with nature.

Although she started writing stories at an early age, it took the discovery of NaNoWriMo in 2009 to rekindle her love of storytelling. Between short stories, she is working on a new series of youthful fantasy novels.
